That was incredibly unnecessary considering he was in the middle of openly explaining himself to the officer who he was talking to. The fact that he was swarmed like that, and in context he was safe inside his house and it's on video here with the cop saying to just come out and everything will be fine.... Really shows that this story is fucked.

Also, if he was suicidal, why hip check him to the ground for absolutely no reason? This was assault - he was complying, showed he had no weapons, was peaceful, etc.

I hope joggers watch that clip and learn a thing or to. His restraint was amazing. My fight-or-flight instincts would have been kicking in full tilt, but he submits right away and immediately puts up his hands. He didn't go, "Nah, I don't wanna be arrested today." He didn't go for a weapon or the cop's weapon. He just let due process run it's course.

It's not that fucking hard, joggers.

Over the top. I’d like to show that to the cancerous commenters on thehill who were talking about his white privilege last night.

He was extremely lucky he didn’t bust his head open on that tackle. Especially if he had had a few drinks. You tend to not know how to fall properly when intoxicated. He was a couple beers away from that being a terrible concussion. The only plus side to this is that this will help him in his upcoming divorce trial. We know that bitch is gonna try and get all the money she can.
