I bring it up here often when the topic of self defense firearm use comes up. It was big news in the gun community here in Oregon and I followed the case from the beginning. It's a cautionary tale of the malicious prosecution that awaits conservatives or any law abiding citizen attempting to defend themselves from the Democrats' terrorists in a Democrat jurisdiction like Multnomah County.

Poor guy trying to get justice in the hellhole that is Portland. No walk in the park.

There is no justice in Multnomah County. This case proves it beyond all doubt.

The police in dim run cities are predominantly dims.

In this case it wasn't so much the police as it was the DA, prosecutors, and the judge. The police never expected anything more than a menacing charge if anything when they took him into custody, and he was indeed initially charged with menacing and then released. Once the DA found out who he was, they tacked on the multiple felony charges against him, charging him separately for each person he pointed the gun at.

at this point, i would be contacting lin woods office. explain your situation, where you live...and ask if they can give you a referral for your area. or maybe he has some baby pit-bull lawyers that need to sharpen their teeth. if they can't give you a referral, ask if there's a website for lawyers who handle constitutional rights cases. spez: didn't realize this was an article until after posting. at least strickland is getting legal help. hay-zus, did he get screwed...every which way but loose.
