Hey guys, so I've been seriously curtailing my purchases of anything made in China and other anti-American countries. For the most part I can, with difficulty, find stuff like clothing, tools, autoparts, gun parts, etc. that are made in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea. But I'm having trouble with common household stuff; basically anything sold at a place like Target (curse be their name). I can avoid the resellers like Target, Wal-mart, etc. and buy directly from the source to save money, but it seems like for some things there's no alternatives. Anyone know of any good sources they could share with everyone?
Goodwill. Or just research really hard. It took me a long time to find a US made k-cup (Ekobrew), but I did.
Try the 99 Only (AKA Dollar Store) or Dollar Tree stores.
Their items are cheap and they buy from local manufacturers. Yes, there is still lots of made in China stuff. But I've been surprised at the variety of stuff made in the USA.
Some products like the microwave are all made in China...
What specifically are you seeking?
I try not to shop at Tram-law and TegRat too.
Right now, random stuff like bath mats, curtains, tooth brush holders, etc.
Oh...yeah...all those domestic industries were undercut and folded. Wow. Makes me sick that they let it happen.
