I'm a recent convert and took to wearing it under my shirt at work as a reminder to myself, but I think I'll switch to attaching it to my belt now.

It doesn't necessarily go anywhere specific, but wearing it around the neck is discouraged. It's fine as a statement of faith, or as a reminder to one's self, but it shouldn't be a fashion statement. At least, that's what I read when I looked into it.
I mostly wear it around the neck as a reminder, but there is a temptation for it to become a, "look at me, look how good I am," thing, which is why I decided to move it to my belt /pocket.
I think it’s a good witness for others. I am personally encouraged when I see someone wearing a cross or rosary around their neck. Too many people are offended by the Cross.

I do. I learned about the differences between the TLM and NO masses while I was going through RCIA at a NO parish, and made up my mind to make the switch when they brought out guitars and drums at the Ash Wednesday mass.
Super thankful to have found a parish offering the TLM close to where I live.

To be fair, some saints like St Martin De Porres have been depicted as wearing it around his neck. I think the more important thing is intention. It shouldn’t be worn as a fashion accessory, but having it on display is a way to testify. Though if mine isn’t in the pouch on my belt, I’ll have it in a pocket or threaded around my belt in the open
I’d actually like some rosary clips but it’s not quite long enough to justify them, unlike the rosary of the Franciscan habit for example.
Edit: I should also say mine is from Rugged Rosaries so it can handle a bit of rough treatment.
Mine was a custom style but now I’m tempted to eventually invest in a 15 decade with belt clips.
