Yes they said they were withdrawing because of gross misconduct on the part of the DOJ prosecutors withholding brady material and the fact the entire investigation was predicated on NOTHING.
It's like being pulled over, your car searched, sniffing dogs brought in, trunk is opened and they find a receipt for a shovel, and accuse you of digging a hole somewhere, knowing the odds are good you dug a hole somewhere, then trying to convict you for the mass grave found somewhere on the other side of the world. When it eventually comes out that the cop only pulled you over because he recognized you as his political opponent, had no grounds to pull you over or search you in the first place.. the receipt which was found illegally has to be thrown out of court and the case falls apart because of misconduct on the part of the investigating officer.
