If they moved out of there to any of the purple/swing states, we would take all of those states by a comfortable margin, and the Left would have California, which they already have anyways. It's a win-win. Leave Cali, move someplace where you can own guns, don't have insane taxes, your vote would actually matter, and the communists would be left with just what they already have anyways with no gains for them, only losses.

Loc12 66 points ago +69 / -3

Yep, I get people have lives and roots but imagine even 1m of those patriots moved. GIve 250k each to PA, MI,FL and WI and they would have a comfortable buffer for awhile. All of those states were won by 10k-100k votes

53
Ragnar_Danneskjold 53 points ago +56 / -3

Send some to Nevada and New Mexico and we flip those states back red. If Cali's conservatives all moved, we could end up with an unassailable majority in 45 or so out of 50 states.

38
Loc12 38 points ago +40 / -2

Yeah, it's crazy to think that with a massive coordination, GOP could be set to win the next 10 elections

Although CA had almost 9m Dem voters in 2016, so the left could do the exact same thing if they wanted. If enough people left CA their electoral votes would also drop, and other states would increase theirs so the entire electoral map would change

Fun scenario to think about

Holy shit,we need a help trump voters move non profit. Help you finance a house/land if you move from blue to purple state.

Some states will actually PAY YOU to move there (small out of the way towns in the middle of nowhere, but still...)

I'm more familiar with the ones in Nebraska, but I'm sure there are others.

2
Redmerc1999 2 points ago +2 / -0

Definitely worth checking into, I know there are a few towns in Nebraska that will do this. It's been a couple years since I've looked into it, but some towns, such as North Platte, will offer 5-10K to move you there, other towns will give you money AND land to move there.

Am I too late to sell in the next couple of weeks and will I be able to move across the country safely? Just wanted an opinion from someone as that is what I'm planning and I am a little on the fearful side, for good reason.

15
chinesevirus 15 points ago +15 / -0

The Midwest is based AF, too. You just have to deal with the cold and storms. Shit, you could easily turn MN red forever if 100k conservative Californians moved here.

17
HockeyMom4Trump 17 points ago +17 / -0

I don’t know...is that enough to outpace the breeding of Somali and their ballot harvesting corruption?

8
chinesevirus 8 points ago +8 / -0

Presumably those conservatives would also be breeding and as the Twin Cities further descend into Detroit-tier mayhem you'll either get more conservatives or less liberals as they leave the State.

A boy can dream.

9
HockeyMom4Trump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Most conservatives won't be breeding nearly as much. Most families we know have two or three children. The Somali families we know have way more-like nine children. Then their daughter around fifteen starts having children. Minneapolis already looks like a different world. It will be unrecognizable in probably twenty years.

7
synd1050 7 points ago +7 / -0

let us not turn white women into breeding machines but we have t stop immigration. a nation of many nations doesn't work. we have to relocate some populations back to their heritage.

4
ModernKnight 4 points ago +4 / -0

Large families are a huge blessing. Most of the happiest women I know have had 4 or more children, many of them more than 7. 17 is the largest family I knew, but I think a few of those were adoptions.

Double win -- by moving out, they reduced California's representation in the House and Electoral College.

29
tcriv 29 points ago +29 / -0

not only that, but california would have fewer electoral votes.

13
theReallyRealRJ 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yeah, was just thinking this - it's a win-win-WIN!

But when does that go into effect? It's not immediate, right (obviously since they didn't just up and boot representatives from the house {though, that'd be a great watch})? After current terms end in 2020 I assume?

2
bck- 2 points ago +2 / -0

They would be air dropping illegals in and granting them citizenship

3
ThurstonHowell3rd 3 points ago +3 / -0

They don't need to be citizens to count toward apportionment of legislative seats (and hence electoral votes). That's based on the US Census. As long as they fill out the census form, CA gets the booty. It's why President Trump wanted to add that "US Citizen" checkbox on the census form this year.

18
Modus_Pwninz 18 points ago +18 / -0

Dude the taxes alone in CA are such a deal breaker it's insane. 13% fucking state income tax? That's DOUBLE what a lot of people pay in their state with an income tax.

I went to San Diego for a couple vacation days and other than the nice coastal view, it's just like any other shithole city...Homeless people and lots of hipster losers. Wooo boy, here's where I want to live...

8
nautilus 8 points ago +8 / -0

You want to know how much I pay in property tax? $18k/year. That is 7X the national average, yet libs still tell me I don't pay enough.

7
Sarthax 7 points ago +7 / -0

Illegals getting free school and health coverage has to come from somewhere.

Seriously, my property tax here is more than the mortgage and car payment combined elsewhere. We're locked in from 10 years ago and it would be double today what we paid, but the previous owners were paying about 20X less since they bought like 50 years ago and rate hikes didn't keep up with property assessments.

5
Modus_Pwninz 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's literally more than my mortgage.

My property taxes are $1900/yr and I have 5 acres...

7
hospitalier 7 points ago +7 / -0

Which is why trumps new deductions are smart. It prevents states/cities with high income tax paying less to the federal government.

3
Seanp12 3 points ago +4 / -1

California's state income tax is infinitely more than what I pay.

Let's hear it for Florida and 0 state income tax!

3
ThurstonHowell3rd 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's about to become worse than that for the wealthy that leave California. Even if they move out of CA, they will still tax your wealth for up to 10 years while living in another state. They figure that the wealth was acquired while in CA, so they can still tax it even if you no longer reside there. Bastards!

3
Modus_Pwninz 3 points ago +3 / -0

I heard that, but I am not sure how they figure they're going to enforce it. I mean imagine moving to CA for a year, hating it, leaving...and getting a tax bill for 10 years...Ummm, no.

2
ThurstonHowell3rd 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would imagine that it's a tax on any wealth you acquired while residing in CA?

2
Krazykrash96 2 points ago +2 / -0

7
LorettasKankles 7 points ago +7 / -0

This state is worth the fight. We’ll take it back.

7
Therealmewt 7 points ago +7 / -0

Not to mention such a mass exodus from California would reduce its overwhelming representation in the House and its electoral count.

California might have to join the rest of the union in having maybe ten reps/delegates at most. lol

Keep the Electoral College - make EC votes a % per district, not state as a whole.

Democrats would have a hard time keeping ANY state blue, and that's a much more respresentative vote of what Americans think as a whole, geographically. Right now if 300k libs vote and 299k conservatives vote, the state goes to the libs entirely. The fuck?

People need to realize that you can drive a car across the entire USA any way you'd like and never hit a "blue county". Democrats need an airplane to go from blue area to blue area and they think they're more "representative of America" just because they're clustered in cities. They have not a single clue about anything that goes on outside the cities, and actually desparage those people as "hicks". THE "HICKS" ARE America. The city folks are caged animals.

5
chambleepede 5 points ago +5 / -0

So, more interesting to me than stacking the SCOTUS would be stacking the house. The house of representatives has been capped at 435 since 1929 ( and even then, it only changed by a handful). If we used the same ratio as that date, we'd have 2000 or so representatives. States like California would be getting a representation of electoral votes more equal to their population. However, they'd probably risk having more GOP districts too... because the districts would be smaller. It's complicated, for sure.

2
Pilotaaron1 2 points ago +2 / -0

I want to see this happen to the entire EC so bad. Unfortunately, the argument now is to keep it or kill it.

And the state is still irreversibly democratic bc of demographic shifts and unending immigration, both legal and illegal. All propped up by their main urban centers and business in Silicon Valley. Just keep that in mind the next time you see some goofy old fuck neocon cucking out to corporations or saying we need "more LEGAL immigrants!"

Results of all of this? The state is a cyberpunk dystopia of an ineffective government that cant even keep the lights on, rampant crime, and one of the highest wealth inequality states in the union.

Reagan didn't fuck us over, the Democrat congress that agreed to tighten the border if he signed an amnesty bill did that. They got their amnesty and never did shit about the border.

Reagan's amnesty was less than 3 million people nationwide. You have more illegal aliens just in California right now than the entire country had in 86. That didn't happen because of Reagan 35 years ago. Even today it isn't happening in places with shit tons of illegals. It happened in California because California is California and keeps doing California shit.

2
ernsithe 2 points ago +4 / -2

Immigration wasn't his big fuck up. This was: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanterman%E2%80%93Petris%E2%80%93Short_Act

Took people who should have institutionalized and left everyone else to deal with them.

3
HuggableBear 3 points ago +3 / -0

We can definitely agree on that one

6
WishdoctorsSong 6 points ago +7 / -1

Regan was never the same after he got shot. I think that worship of Regan you're seeing is people focusing on his earlier years as governor and not his later years.

His dementia was active during the year he signed that into law.

Another reason Biden is a horrible idea.

1

Agreed completely. Trump is better than Reagan for sticking to his gun. The stupid GOP politicians are so dense (because they are bought by corporations). They always choose to vote for their own demise.

Count me in as one. I have seen a dramatic turn on my Facebook feed as San Francisco is getting even more destroyed by property crime mainly residential burglary. Last week I saw leftists wanting to vote out the local government after watching CCTV footage of junkies with pry bars working on their building doors.

4
Krunchi 4 points ago +5 / -1

What about the 10 Million Illegals in California seems to be offsetting that number you have.

4
semblanceofsanity 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm spamming threads with a push to switch states to the Congressional District Method of apportioning votes. The time for this idea has come, and more Pedes need to know about it and push for it with their friends and state legislators.

With this method, each congressional district decides which candidate gets their electoral vote, and the winner of the state gets 2 additional votes.

In addition to giving 4.5 million Republican Californians a voice, it limits the capacity for fraud to the district where it took place. If, for instance, Broward County, FL, engages in massive voter fraud, the winner-take-all method could result in 29 stolen electoral votes. With the Congressional District Method, fraud in Broward County is limited to 3 votes: one for the district where the fraud took place, and 2 for the state.

4
hansgruber7 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, but that's only because it's such a big state. I love those 4 million Trump voters and I hope that number grows, but there were almost 9 million votes for the Side of Beef. That's more than the entire population of a lot more states than what's listed above.

It makes me sad. I love Alabama. Always thought it was funny when people up here (MN) act like Alabama is poor, uneducated, etc...then they admit they have never even been there. They already ruined North Carolina and Nashville, TN. Now they have their sights set on Alabama and making it trendy to live in Birmingham. There are only a few states left that the liberals have no idea about...

lol. You aren’t wrong! My family is mostly Southern rednecks. We are only up here because of hockey. The snow is awful. The cold is miserable. It is like living in a freezer several months a year. The Somali have taken over Minneapolis and many surrounding suburbs. That fish is probably lutefisk in some sort of bizarre “hot dish” as they call it. We have a mask mandate. Our taxes are high. Our professional sports teams are terrible. I think Alabama football could easily beat the Vikings this year. Roll tide!

Try to get it back in the MSM that Alabama is just full of rednecks and no internet to keep the Yankees from moving there.

Maybe atm other states are getting more right wing voters, but pretty soon theres going to be a California diaspera and the countries gonna be flooded with low iq california voters.

3
DeplorableLatino 3 points ago +3 / -0

Many of us, like me, didn’t vote in 2016 because of the electoral college. Knowing Now that they are going to weaponize the popular vote, It will be an early Tuesday morning present to cast my vote for Trump!

1
ThurstonHowell3rd 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good for you! You should always vote, regardless of what you think will happen in an election. And there are probably some down-ballot races that you could have more of an impact on even if you live in a solid blue state. Heck, I'm just happy to cancel out the vote of my idiot liberal neighbor with the Biden sign in his yard, even if Trump doesn't have a chance in hell of winning this state.

3

2

I imagine the two big problems would be 1.) water (glad I'm on a well) and 2.) Dems would get 4 senators from the 2 southern states and we we would get 2 from Jefferson - A net gain of 2 senators for dems.
