"They do jobs Americans aren't willing to do" is elitist-speak for "they do jobs that I'm personally not willing to do, and I want to pay others less to do"

Good info - but the article fails to include the Billions of dollars that are wholly removed from the US economy in the form of remittance to Mexico and South America. This doesn't or can't delineate between monies sent by illegal or legal immigrants, but I think it's safe to assume that the vast majority of illegal aliens participate in the practice of sending much of their illegally earned paychecks to family living outside the US.

Your link also assumes an illegal alien population of the generic and purposefully low-balled number of 12M, where it's obviously much higher - as high as 22M. Democrats and many Republicans like to use the 12M number to their benefit, but it's been 12M for decades and we all know better.

Yea 22 million is the realistic number as recently as 2018.

One creates jobs, the others steal/destroy them.

Not only do they not pay taxes, they send a lot of their money back home to mexico to their families. Money that should be spent in the US economy.

Computer, show me "false equivalence."

Imagine being the party of pandemic lockdowns, gun control, and the talking points about wage stagnation and rising housing costs and ALSO being the party of open borders. I wouldn't put it past them that they don't understand cause and effect, but it's just as likely they have no intention of solving any of these problems.

The issue we have with the ones on the bottom has nothing to do with whether or not they pay taxes...
