Sulivan will go on for a while longer, but he's dropping the Flynn case today.

No he isn't. He gave Flynn's attorney another week to file her motion to disqualify him. If he was going to dismiss, he wouldn't have done that.

While he had no justification not to, he’s stuck on stupid.

It needs to go to the SCOTUS to prevent other judges from doing what he’s done here.

Looks like he's pushed back any rulings until Oct 7 at the minimum. Disappointed there was no hard win today, but that DOJ lawyer left a mark. Sullivan gave Gleeson free range to knock it out of the park, but just the opposite happened.

I look at it this way: Sullivan knows he's screwed one way or another. If you had 2 options that you knew would result in your demise, you'd go with the one that was going to hurt the least. He's going to stall as much as he can and hope for a miracle to intervene, but he's not walking away unscathed. Curious to know how this precedent will affect future cases. You have no civil rights if the POTUS tweets and hurts some feefees? Judges of any level have too much power.
