Using any type of interfering equipment at an event that the Secret Service is protecting is a tremendously dumb idea unless you just want to spend the rest of your life in jail
It's a really dumb idea in general because it is a federal crime. I knew a guy who had a cell phone jammer that he would use on occasion if people were talking on the phone and annoying him. He demonstrated it to me once and it definitely worked. He also realized how fucked he would be if he got caught.
