That's funny, I did some research for backing up my point and I was about to link you the source in your post.

First of all, only 14 states would replace faithless electors. So our conversation is only regarding these 14 states because the other states' electors can do what they want. Agreed?

Second, the answer for those 14 varies by state. From our source:

Michigan’s law requires an elector to vote for the ticket named on the ballot whereas Florida’s rules say that an elector is to “vote for the candidates of the party that he or she was nominated to represent.”

Still, I can't see a scenario in which Biden dies between the elections and him becoming the president elect (on 14, Dec) and all his votes being lost, effectively throwing into the trash the will of the majority of the country.

You think a few words in a piece of paper would mean that all blue states would be BTFO ? Yeah right.
