lol.

I feel you. And that sounds like a very accurate firearm. Well worthy. But something about that Ruger... I think it's the aesthetics. It came out right when precision rifles were starting to be a thing, and it just caught my eye. There are better performing (and cheaper) rifles today, but it still gets me. I'm a Ruger fanboy, though, so...

I have an interesting rifle. Ruger 77/357. Fires .357, and also .38. +P rounds in .38 are a hoot. Looking to get a matching Ruger GP100. Bring on the zombie apocalypse! It's like plinking with more oomph.

You have that Marlin? So cool! What do you thin of it? That scoped distance shot at the end of WR is the tits, man. BOOM.

I'm not familiar with that Marshall, but I checked out some vids. Seems like some righteous Slayer tones. Cool amp! You had the 30th anniversary amp? I remember when that stuff was kicking around the music stores. Probably played ojne at some point.

Here's my dream tone. A modded Bray Marshal Plexi. Cue to the EVH stuff, about halfway through. NAILS that brown sound.

I actually mostly use a Digitech GSP unit, that I loaded with custom impulse responses (speaker sims, basically.) Use a stock Digitech EVH brown sound amp setting, with some Celestion basketweave, mic'd with an offset SM57, speaker IRs. Nails that tone. I've also been playing for a long time, although, I wouldn't say I suck, lol.

'Whole Lotta Rosie' says high. My favorite Angus tone is probably 'Highway To Hell', or maybe 'Have4 A Drink On Me.' That whole 'Black In Black' album is my ACDC highpoint. Not so much the energy of the earlier stuff, but the Mutt Lange production is so ace. It's a 'put it on and play it all the way through' album for me.

Say, not familiar with the Ruger, but I sure like my Rossi .357/38 lever action carbine...
