I thought he said Iowa vote. He doesn't speak very clearly as he did ten years ago. I also thought he was talking about a "K" shaped recovery.

What did Biden actually say? Who the hell knows?

It’s divergent lines for those who got fucked by Democrat tyrants shutting down their business and those who profited on it and made a record year.

K Street is a street in DC that has a large number of lobbying firms. Except in this instance, they'd like you to forget the lobbyists for all their causes or even the general ones like the NRA because now they want you to think about the uber wealthy CEOs with lobbyists. (NO NOT BUFFET OR SOROS YOU BIGOT!) So a "K" shaped recovery would be one that primarily benefits those CEOs over the American people.

... Now, in case you ever wondered why the left can't meme, this is a great example right here.

Ah, K street recovery. That's actually a clever lie. It's the small business that will never recover while Wallmart and Amazon etc make record profits and permanently crowd out the mom and pops.

Oh yeah, it's a lie, but I wouldn't call it clever.

They expect the average voter to know and care enough about the intricacies of DC swamp living to just automatically understand that they're talking about K Street off of something as simple as just the fucking letter. It's a betrayal of how insular and shut off from the public that they've become.

edit to add: I'm catching hardcore political journalists who have no fucking idea what he was talking about. This particular line flopped, hard.

It could be possible that it's a Delaware accent/dialect thing that makes "I will" sound just like "Iowa". That is the kindest scenario.

The other possibility is that Biden is beginning to slur his speech which is sometimes part of the inevitable decline that those in our age group experience before leaving this life.

FWIW, I have no trouble at all understanding all of our regional accents even Louisiana bayou and Boston!. Maybe it came from my parents insisting that I take a few music lessons when I was a kid. At office parties, I used to do impressions of some of our more memorable clients of the past year. It always had everyone howling. I'm glad I'm retired because it just doesn't seem that enough people have any sense of humor anymore. Too many people are going around now just waiting for any opportunity to be professionally offended
