He wasn’t just participating in a debate, he was projecting his power to our enemies. In this context he could not sit back and be passive. I know Trump can make you feel uncomfortable but that is why he has been successful with economic and peace deals. This is the guy I want fighting for me. He takes care of the dirty business that nobody else will touch.

Round 2: Make adjustments to your own strategy to take advantage of the weaknesses you saw in the first round.

No, the strategy was to separate Biden from the left wing base, i.e., Green New Deal, Medicare for all, Defund the Police. He did that. Choice was go for the 5-7% undecided in the middle or alleviate Biden of 25% of the most radical left.
