I read his questions ahead of time and thought he chose some good topics and tried to split his questions between softballs and hard balls for each combatant. So I was looking forward to an interesting debate, but Trump just walked all over him, and was totally right in asking if he was debating the moderator or Biden.

I do think Trump was interrupting more than Biden (although Biden was way out of line on a few occasions), but it's Chris' job to control the flow of the debate and he just let things run wild too many times, and didn't even attempt to keep things civil between the two.

Overall Chris just didn't have the balls to stand up to either candidate and get them to behave, and that's basically his main job as moderator.

It wasn't his lack of balls. Purely partisan. Everything from critical race theory to climate change he was the one debating Trump. He let Biden slip by on lies and obvious ones. The green New deal is on biden's campaign page and he most certainly endorses it. So many more like the Charlottesville "fine people". That asshole saw the speech and knows well and good Trump denounced racists and referred to people debating about statues. Does not correct Biden on other points that are obvious and that he has even commented on in the past.

He asks Trump to denounce White supremacists, pushing the foregone conclusion that white supremacists are inherently Trump supporters. This is a terrible and partisan tactic.

I could go on and I'll probably make a list later

See, the thing is I thought that while he asked Trump to denounce white supremacists, he also pointedly mentioned to Biden during his question that there had been 100 days of antifa riots. I think he was leaning harder on Trump on the white supremacy question than Biden on the antifa question, especially since we know the white supremacist thing is made up, but that part didn't seem horribly biased to me.

I thought the general topics selected were pretty good, the questions were left leaning and attacked Trump more than Biden, and the moderation was non-existent.
