What you're seeing is how Democrats broke ALL the rules of decorum since 2016, and are now crying when Trump doesn't follow the rules for them. But the "rules" are only meant to get one up over their opponent, because no one is gonna call them out when they break the rules, but they will call Trump out over anything, everything, and nothing.
At one point, Biden called Trump a clown then pretended like he overstepped the line, but Wallace said NOTHING to him. Trump didn't once use name calling like that, even if he did interrupt. And Trump has every right to interrupt, because this is not a debate. This is just a platform Democrats are using to give the appearance of legitimacy to Biden as a candidate, and to be used to bash Trump. Biden didn't go in depth on one single policy issue, hell he barely discussed policy issues.
If Trump doesn't defend himself, they will use that to attack him as if their lies are truth. They're not debating policy issues there, but rather, each others actions. And that's the difference that gives Trump every right to interrupt. You can't just spout lies about a person, then expect them to be quiet. I personally wouldn't want a president who is just going to stand there and take it without sticking up for himself.
And if Trump won't stand up for himself, how can he stand up for us? But Trump did stand up for himself! And if Biden can't stand up for Biden, if he can't make his case as a candidate, if all he can do is stand up there and stress laugh and shrug stuff off with a hand waive, what kind of man does that make him? One that is to not be respected, that's for sure.
Biden is a joke of a candidate. Passed his prime, and even his prime was pretty weak. He didn't survive in government for 40 years because he's a masterful politician. He survived because he operated like the mafia. His entire political career is nothing more than hit jobs and deflection. When Democrats try to talk about "decorum" or "acting presidential", what they really mean is they want to give an air of untouchability to their people.
But that air of untouchability has only been one sided (if you notice, all Republican presidents are treated as morons by the media, and all Democrat presidents are treated as messiah saviors, even before Obama this was the general state of things), and its been gone since 2016. Kid gloves off. You play by Democrat rules, rules that change based on Democrat whims, you only set yourself up for failure. And Trump knows that.
After what they've done to Trump for the last 4 years, I wouldn't even fault Trump if he walked over to Biden, grabbed him by the shirt, and started backhanding him over and over in a merciless display of rage.

Very well stated!
