If the green new deal would pay for itself, as he himself said tonight, why wouldn't you support it? If ANYTHING pays for itself, its a good deal. The only thing is that every time, EVERYTIME we’ve been told something pays for itself, we’ve been stuck with a ridiculous bill.

Ignoring the question of, who will pay for it?
Are the taxes from them working there, going to pay for it, ok sounds good. But that's not in the deal, right? More taxes will be collected, more government programs will be started, and most waste will happen.
But unemployment wasn't that bad pre-covid19. So why do we need to create ALL these new jobs, at a HUGE cost?

Obama was talking about all these “green jobs” his policies would create back in 2008. Twelve years ago! Well, what happened to those? Where are all these “green jobs”? These Democrats constantly talk about how shutting down all these industries is going to create all these jobs, but where are they? What is a “green job” even supposed to be? Does anybody know anyone with a “green job”?
