I know. I think Trump tends to just keep moving forward during conversation rather than go back to relitigate his previous remarks. Whatever he says, they’ll say it’s a lie anyways and for him to go back to it and say “wait, that’s not true” probably would just look weak because it places the conversation on their turf. Instead he just bulldozes over to what he wants to talk about. Like when he flipped from Beau to Hunter.
