First I want to say this was absolutely a Trump victory. That said, it was a Pyrrhic victory.
Moving forward, I think Trump should just let Joe dig a hole for himself. The truth supports us and our cause. Leftist dogma dies outside their echo chambers like reddit, twitter, and the MSM.
Trump made outstanding points throughout the night and Joe could not mount a response and descended to ad hom and namecalling. Trump pissed this advantage away by interrupting Joe at every turn.
This was a two on one fight though, so I get why Trump did what he did, I think he just needs to remain calm and let he cards get dealt before making moves.
Also, fuck Chris Wallace.
I thought the same at first but after reading some others points and re-listening, I think GEOTUS was playing a longer game by breaking up sound bytes that could be used over the next few days on those millions of people that wont take the time to watch the debate at all. Stealing ammo is a useful tactic. Not my idea but it is very logical to me.
Exactly. Trump blew it, overall. He was so solid when he just touted his record. The arguing with Wallace, no matter how bias Wallace was, was not helpful. The constant interrupting was obnoxious. Did Trump win? I guess. It wasnt as commanding as it should have been
Exactly what I'm getting at. I have backed this man since he came down the escalator to declare his candidacy but he really blew it here. I will still be voting for him (wouldnt be here if I wasnt) but I hope he changes pace for the next debate and Pence takes a few lessons away from this.
