I think anyone with a brain would realise the economy "crashed" because of coronavirus lockdowns, etc. It's happened everywhere in the world, but I guess Japan, China, Europe, the UK etc all "crashed" because of Trump too.
I thought Trump answered the Supreme Court Justice question succinctly and well. We already had an election. It's done. The Democrats would and tried to do the same thing.
I think the SCOTUS discussion went haywire at first, but was reeled back in when it turned to the "stacking the court" question. About the only hard hitting question Wallace asked Biden the whole night. And Trump really pressed and caused Biden to fumble really badly on that one.
I don't think the rona questioning made POTUS look weak. It was clear that POTUS was the best leader on that issue and he just savaged Biden on that. We were laughing up a storm watching that.
The pre existing conditions argument is stupid to begin with. First of all, there may be a lot of people with "pre existing conditions" but that's not the same as being uninsurable. Only people who have chronic AND severe problems would be considered uninsurable by a company.
And second of all, why shouldn't people who drain more out of the system have to pay more into it? I understand it sucks to be born with a genetic illness and have to pay more insurance, but you're also costing everyone in the market more money. Its the sad reality we have to deal with and until we find to train doctors as easily as we train fry cooks, healthcare will never be entirely "affordable" to everyone.
For what it's worth, the whole pre-existing conditions thing is bullshit, and is one of the few things I give the left credit to for calling out. But Trump's planning to protect it, so fuck it.

Not fry cooks, but technicians. Because that's the sort of work all but the most specialist doctors do. It should be a 4 year degree with 2 of that being largely practical, the medical system we have is ridiculous and profiteering-oriented on every level.
they basically blamed him for "crashing the economy" when biden wants to do a 3 month complete shut down. The fuck. Fuck Chris.
No shit. Follow up, Chris. “The Trump Recession.” FFS. This prick would have blamed the US for starting WWII if you put him in a time machine.

To be fair, I think that's the only unambiguous solid win Trump had.
While I personally think Trump handily won some other exchanges, I think others could see those differently.
Trump destroyed him with the law enforcement/law and order part. “Name one that supports you”.
Law and order and the Green New Deal stuff Trump did really well on. Those were his high marks.
And of course "You'd be surprised" when Biden said he can't let anyone finish 😂
