I thought it was a brilliant strategy on Trump's part to disrupt all of Joe's pre-rehearsed, canned speeches, making Joe lose his train of thought every time. This made team Biden/Wallace very angry. Joe had planned to deliver his scripted lines uninterrupted and was not prepared for Trump to be constantly upsetting the apple cart.

Joe had hoped for his "my son Beau is not a loser" speech to be an Oscar-winning performance, and it's obvious he and his handlers spent hours trying to get the right cadence and emotion. Trump saw that and pounced - turning the spotlight on Joe's son Hunter, who really IS a loser. Joe then had to resort to defending his crackhead son instead and the lamestream media had lost yet another sound bite.

This is what I've thought since early in the debate. I'm surprised so many here haven't picked up on this.
