I don't agree about Biden "boxing Trump out of the discussion" by looking straight into the camera, and that this "worked" for him.

That was just one of his practiced MOs. He seldom makes eye contact with Trump (that's how one debates). It's hard to do two things at once when you're cognition is failing. Looking straight ahead at intervals is what his handlers have told him to do. Otherwise, he looks down.

Don't get distracted by looking at Trump, shake your head as he speaks, and hit the practiced talking points, even if they have nothing to do with the question: 200,000 Covid deaths (lie, and long ago debunked. Where's the snooze emoji?), Trump didn't disavow white supremacists (lie), Trump called service members losers (lie)....

The only time he was asked a direct, pertinent, follow-up question, it was by TRUMP (Name one law enforcement agency which has endorsed you), and Biden was left looking like a deer in headlights.

Then there's the issue of his adjusting his wire, caught by an astute observer.

Yeah....Nothing "worked" for Biden last night.

It was creepy when Biden looked at the camera. He's a creepy guy.

You bet. Very creepy. He's always been that way. And he's a plain creep, too. I was waiting for him to talk about Beau's death, because he's always been an opportunist that way.

When his first wife and infant daughter were tragically killed decades ago, he ran around the country, looking for sympathy votes, lying that they were killed "when a guy decided to drink his lunch."

There was NO alcohol involved, and investigators concluded that it was an accident when his wife pulled into the path of a truck whose driver had the right of way. They suspected she might have been distracted by a baby and two toddlers in the car--long before car seats were mandated.

Instead, though, Biden sent a working-stiff truck driver to his grave repeating the same old lie, and never corrected the record until years later, when the man's still-suffering family had had enough, and called him on it again--and when he began running for higher office.

Still, he only said that "the information" was incorrect, when no one ever found alcohol to be a factor, and no one MENTIONED it--except Biden.

There's nothing funny or endearing about him. Liar, plagiarist, opportunist, creepy, miserable human being--and an all-around creep.

That's the real Joe Biden.
