Good morning patriots
Hope everyone slept well after the president and Chris Wallace debated about the issues last night.
We've had some great threads and comments about what happened last night. Now that you've had time to digest it we'd like to give you the opportunity to seriously discuss any questions, issues, or anything that happened.
Top level comments should be only something that happened during the debate. Links to highlights, fact checks, questions, etc.
For those who missed it.
I loved every minute of the debate. Sharp, combative POTUS vs. talking points angry grandpa and smarmy suckup Wallace.
Biden stumbled even over his own talking points which were obviously rehearsed. He talked to the camera like a robot. Trump ignored the camera.
Trump jabbed at Biden, making him angry. Trump then forced Biden to deny his support for the Green New Deal and to affirm his support for law and order. Both positions the rabid Dem base will hate.
Found this in another comment, I think it's from Twitter but can't confirm:
Nice catch. The comments from Biden that he'll put America on lockdown again if he wins is a HUGE turn-off for me. We barely tolerated the first one and Creepy Gropin' Joe Hiden wants another lockdown?
Fuck off, Creepy Gropin' Joe Hiden!
There was a time on the campaign trail where he said something along the lines of "if you vote for me I won't lower your taxes, I'm going to raise them" and I couldn't help but think surely this has to be the first time in history a politician running for office uttered that phrase, or at least a serious politician with an actual chance. I would imagine that if you polled every person in this country and asked "would you like to pay more in taxes?" the overwhelming majority would say "fuck no". The ones who don't would probably ask what they're going to get in return and "free" health care isn't going to be what they want to hear.
