If you break down each segment and realize how crappy the moderation was, Trump is the clear winner. He was weak in a couple segments (probably COVID & the tax stuff), but overall he had the better performance. He also forced Biden's back against the wall a few times to where Biden either responded with insults, had no answer at all, said stuff that was ridiculous, or said stuff that contradicted his entire message up to now. Trump may have gained no one, but he lost no one. Biden gained no one and he probably lost some.
On taxes he could have been more clear in his explanation. 1) His personal income is practically zero because he donates his presidential salary therefore his personal income tax is very low. 2) He pays millions and millions of dollars of taxes through his corporations which is where the vast majority of his net worth is held.

He was good on taxes. Missed a lot on covid but history speaks for itself. Just wish he had been better at dropping those examples
