How does an idiot like Chris Wallace get a presidential debate? As great as Tucker would be, I'd never expect there to be a neutral moderator let alone someone that might actually ask real questions. But Wallace is just plain stupid. If you're going to get an anti-Trump person to moderate, at least get someone with half a brain.
The entire Debate process is rigged... it is all about '$$$$$$$$' first and 'hitting the Republican Party second'

If the public wants this format, we should just dispense with a “neutral moderator” since clearly they don’t exist. Instead we should have two, just like court, appointed by the candidate. Then they take turns asking questions. At least we would get to hear an answer to some of Trump’s good questions of Biden.

They should reach out to John Stossel. He's moderated debates in the past, isn't affiliated with any major news network, and is willing to call bull on both candidates.
Yep he's a former republican who realized he is more libertarian than republican. But yeah he would be very unbiased and would ask hard hitting questions from both candidates. He's also a great listener and would ask the correct follow up questions. I think he'd be very similar to Jim Lehrer.
I watched an old debate Lehrer moderated and a viewer asked "should we send grain to cuba" and the candidate answered "of course but first we should nuke them first". Lehrer followed up with "what kind of grain?"
I could see Stossel asking follow up questions because he actually would listen and care.
