Perhaps.... But this is Trump's style. He's alpha bombastic in charge guy. Calling bullshit where he sees it.

I did not down vote you for your opinion.

I know that, and its always been his style. I don't know what people really expected.

However, I do think Trump struggles with being the bigger man sometimes.

He gets goaded into literally everything. He feels like he has to fire back over EVERYTHING.

He doesn't have to. Let Biden lie and make himself look like a jackass. There are OTHER ways to expose this then falling into the trap of then making yourself look like an ass, which is the reality, like it or not, of what happened.

I agree with all that.

Believe me I say a lot of these things to my parents.

And no, my parents, despite their intelligence, do in fact operate too much on emotion. All I was hearing was how Trump was coming across as an asshole, and it wasn't until I pointed out what you say in that Biden himself was laughing constantly, acting immature, and making childish remarks himself that my Dad reigned in his view that this was all Trump.

But for whatever reason, people don't pick up on that stuff. They just see Biden's smile and think he's a nice guy and they see Trump as a bully.

But here's the thing, Trump should have been smart enough to call Chris Wallace out, instead of rambling and running his mouth, just be succinct and ask Chris Wallace why he won't ask Joe Biden about his "you aint black" comments, and then wait for a response. I just think there are smarter and more tactical ways to convince people of Biden's faults that he didn't do.

You are literally addressing the problem, and that problem, despite it seeming obvious to us that people should be able to see through Biden's bullshit, it doesn't end up happening because Trump gets in his own way in my opinion. He does a lot of things well, and then he kind of shoots himself in the foot sometimes where he could better capitalize on opportunities.

Look, he showed he's the stronger man, and he has some good info to work with now. We need to see a more nuanced strategy at the next debate and I'm sure Trump will deliver.
