I am not upset about it. Wallace lumping the Proud Boys and militias defending their communities in with white supremacists enrages me. It took balls for Trump to not condemn them as white supremacists to score cheap political points.
trump has absolutely nothing to gain by playing the "disavow" game. it's been proven that whatever he says- including the actual words "i disavow white supremacists"- it will still get twisted by shills into the exact opposite.
It's hilarious that they think nobody will find out he's already condemned them like a hundred times if they get their media cronies not to cover it.
You'd think someone in their campaign would have learned by now that most people have internet access and maybe let everyone know that it's not so easy anymore to just feed people their opinions.
I am a bit. He could have simply said 'I condemn all hate groups' or whatever and be done with it. Sure he has done so already multiple times but nothing wrong with doing in on a big stage like yesterday. A lot of casuals were watching.
GEOTUS handled it perfectly. The shills are out in force as usual. Pervert sniffing joe has been out on notice by Lin Wood. The blatant hypocrisy of the left MUST be pushed every day. Keep the heat on your friends and relatives and ppl you meet. This is war my fellow PATRIOTS.
My issue is that his response is low hanging fruit for the low information idiots who still think he's never condemned white supremacy. This was the most any of these people have sat down and watched him speak other than 5 second sound bites and he had the opportunity to let them all know what we all know.
One, the shill idea, is "Trump didnt condemn and said to stand by, that scares me!"
The second, the sincere thought, is "We know that Trump doesn't support white supremacy, but while he understandbly dismisses the fabricated issue, what he specifically said wasn't great optics-wise"
Two very different points.
That being said, it's not a big deal. It won't cause any motion in the polls. Given the fact we have 2 more debates and 5 weeks to election day, it'll be completely forgotten regardless of whether it was a bad or benign moment.
He shouldn't have allowed Wallace to get away with conflating critical race theory with "sensitivity training."
Beyond that, I feel like it would have deprived the MSM of their attack angle if he had just said that he disavows racism in all forms. Then he could have gone on the attack against Biden for refusing to even admit Antifa exists.
That being said, I know what he meant, the PBs aren't white supremacists. A blanket disavowal of all forms of bigotry would have cut that angle of attack off, without him having to denounce the PBs specifically.
I'm not "upset" about it, but I think he should have known better.
Must not be bc this interaction happened earlier today:
Q Mr. President, can you explain what you meant last night when you said that the Proud Boys should “stand back and stand by”?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t know who the Proud Boys are. I mean, you’ll have to give me a definition, because I really don’t know who they are. I can only say they have to stand down, let law enforcement do their work. Law enforcement will do the work more and more. As people see how bad this radical, liberal, Democrat movement is and how weak — the law enforcement is going to come back stronger and stronger.
But again, I don’t know who Proud Boys are. But whoever they are, they have to stand down. Let law enforcement do their work.
And yet Biden denies the existence of Antifa.
And Wallace didn't say anything about it while he attacked the President for not condemning a random list of groups. Such a joke.
he's only condemned them 20+ times so far. NOTHING will appease these shills.
NEVER accept the left's premise at face value because they're ALL false premises!

Trump is much smarter than me and I am a huge Trump supporter. I wish he would have said clear and concise...
"I condem white supremacy. I condem any racial supremecy."
Why cant he just fucking say that and BTFO the stupid fake media.?
You would have had to muzzle me if I was in that studio audience. How did they stay quiet with this shit going on?

I think we're conflating two ideas here.
One, the shill idea, is "Trump didnt condemn and said to stand by, that scares me!"

When i say that, I merely mean that he should have seen how his phrasing would be spun. Aren't you also armchair quarterbacking?

It's the "standby" that is being spun
