That's beyond awful.

End these pointless foreign wars!

TrumpOrTreason 37 points ago +37 / -0

How is this possible?!

Six kids!

I suspect, people who commit suicide have a memory /trauma that replays over and over and they can’t stop the replay.

Is it confirmed he killed himself?

11
Independenceforever 11 points ago +11 / -0

Can confirm flashbacks suck.

10
WellDoneWithKetchup 10 points ago +10 / -0

Hell, just the flashbacks you have after a bad accident are brutal. Can't imagine fucking war flashbacks.

Was he possibly in Ohio/KY this past weekend? I could've sworn I saw him. Not joking, dude told me he "was going to the desert to be alone"....Which is weird bc there are no deserts near OH. It was evident the guy I saw was very mentally troubled

"Shane served a total of eight years of active duty service in the United States Marine Corps. He served approximately 1.5 years with 1st Light Armor Reconnaisance Battalion as a vehicle commander and was then transferred to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment. There he spent approximately five years as an infantry squad leader, section leader, and platoon sergeant. After three western Pacific deployments (two to combat zones), Shane transferred to his last duty station at the Weapons and Field Training Battalion where he was responsible for training hundreds of Marine Corps recruits and active duty personnel in weapon handling and basic marksmanship skills." -LinkedIn

This happens too much in the enlisted ranks.

Let the world know we support our troops regardless of the cost.

Yes this applies to the young man I knew! I think he hid a lot so he could carry on with his police and fbi work! Makes sense!

I would like to send a letter to President including your explanation is that ok?

I would add that the lifestyle of transitioning from Military to Civilian life is extremely difficult. People don't seem to understand unless they have been through it.

Unless you have a head injury you don't know what hell it is. My family doesn't get it at all. Trauma messes you up. Never feels the same. Feels like living death at times.

Grinds and eats and builds up to a moment of insanity and high pain.

Fuck this stupid lockdown and virus HOAX. Destroying mental health.

Nearly takes me all the time.

God save another fallen hero's family. This lockdown and mask cult makes the PTSD A MILLION times worse. God save us.

I hate seeing these tragedies πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.

Truest shit I’ve ever read. I had a close family service member commit suicide.

4
WellDoneWithKetchup 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's fucked. Imo, nobody should lose their second amendment rights. It says shall not be infringed for a fucking reason. Sick to death of even our side being ok with some of this unconstitutional shit.

& taking someone up who's already depressed & suicidal, & locking them in a mental institution away from their loved ones seems completely counterproductive ffs.

2
Kolob 2 points ago +2 / -0

Depends, my friend's son had a cushy Air Force job and started to crack. His commanding officers got him into a mental hospital and it came out that he had been horribly sexually abused by a neighbor as a child. She had no idea, hit her hard, but the gave him and honorable medical discharge and as a result of their care his is ok today and doing well.

12
FreedomCrayon 12 points ago +12 / -0

They do. You give up almost all your rights when you join--you become property of the government. Husband was SF and he and his unit were exposed to a lot of shit (excessive radiation, experimental drugs, etc.). He had a brain tumor twice before the age of 30 with absolutely no family history of any cancer. The real kicker? Not only did another member of his unit contract a brain tumor, two children from two other members ended up developing the same kind of brain tumors before the age of four.

Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 9 points ago +11 / -2

It wouldn't surprise me if the "elite" were testing many ways to kill off soldiers that are preventing their world takeover. And AJ has mentioned they force anthrax "vaccines" on troops for life extension research since it's so hard to kill. Brain chips are what worry me more. Never underestimate the enemy.

2
JediMasterPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dude I'm actually curious if they did that to me. They gave us so many fucking vaccines

1
Kolob 1 point ago +1 / -0

My friend's son got close, all his vet buddies from his unit were killing themselves. He got off the psych meds and he is doing ok now, but it took a long time and he is a medical marijuana patient. He is convinced the psych meds the VA prescribes are increasing deaths.

Oh, I am so sorry. He must have been in such pain. Is there a fund for his family on givesendgo or another crowdsourcing platform? I hope this family sticks together. Suicide often destroys families because it is so difficult to cope. Anyone who is thinking of this, please don't do this ever. Even if you have to walk into an emergency room. If you don't want to admit you are suicidal then say you have tremendously painful headache. It's hard to disprove or prove a headache. But.Just.DON'T.do.this. ....please.

Many men kill themselves because they get screwed by a woman in divorce.

Media will never talk about it because Democrats are in the business of not just coddling single mothers, but CREATING them. So single mothers will always get the benefit of the doubt and anyone insinuating anything that portrays them in a bad light will be attacked relentlessly.

This has been a public service announcement.

Awful, sorry to hear. Was he stuck on psych meds when he came back vs. having talk therapy? That's usually the common denominator I find for these things.

Horrible news. I am terribly sorry this happened.

Shane, his family, and his friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

May everyone who knew him find peace that he is no longer suffering.

May the spirit of the Lord fill his family with strength.

I pray that he is remembered not by the burden he carried but as a hero who found meaning and purpose in protecting and defending his fellow countrymen.

Invisible wounds are killing veterans, but because they look normal, they rarely get the proper treatment.

It's okay to admit you need help.

We're still losing too many. FFS. Need to first off step up the training, cut the deployments, and get more AD Psychologists in the field. In the late 70's that was one of the programs President Carter kicked off that had a tremendous effect on reducing the number of suicides. We need that intervention again.

Shame, I bet there are hundreds of pedes here at any given moment willing and happy to talk with anyone in his position. Depression will pass, sometimes people need some help getting through it.

I pray Shane finds peace in the next life.

Unfortunately, regular people aren't as helpful as we'd like to think. There is a veterans' charity that specifically deals with PTSD and they only want actual veterans to volunteer to be interacting with their clients. I guess since we can't relate we come off as totally ignorant and maybe our "cheer up" attempts come across as uncaring/foolish/off-the-mark because we don't know shit about what they're going through.

But if there is some way we can actually help, I'd sure like to know. Even accompanying them to the store, me in a mask, so they - without a mask - can have a "defender/partner" of sorts to just be a companion so they don't feel like an alien. Any suggestions welcome! Or even what organizations to contact to even find people having a hard time! Maybe I can start with dreaded Facebook and just ask them if they know of anyone having a hard time, to send me a message.
