Like...getting the jabs in on getting Biden to endorse the Green New Deal and also not support Law and Order just feels SOOOOO damning in hindsight.

After it was pointed out that Trump had Biden attacking his radical left based positions, and flat out denying them.

I realized Bidens base is way more fragile then I thought...And Trump was leading Biden like a child. Forcing him to observe how shitty his position is, and putting Bidens base at risk.

The Green New deal exchange was a great example.

It was like Biden was saying WHATEVER to get to the next Orange Man Bad talking point, not realizing he was dismantling his base.

It's because most people were hoping to see Biden implode into a confused stuttering mess, discussing his altercation with Cornpop and making statements offensive to every minority. When he didn't do that, we were a bit disappointed, but then looking at it, we realize Trump actually made the most points and Biden was reduced to making stuff up and ad hominem attacks.

I thought Trump dramatically underperformed. He failed to tout his achievements and didn’t shoot down the hoaxes. That said, Biden had a lot of serious flubs and had to run from some positions like the Green New Deal.

Yeah while I do think Trump "won" the debate, he could've done much better and I hope that happens in the next 2.

I'm optimistic because back in 2016 his best performance was the final debate.

I personally felt Trump attacked too much. Biden's greatest weakness is when he talks a lot. Trump buried him in attacks & didn't give him time to say much anything. The future debates are going to stop interruptions. That will be a great time for Trump to wait for Biden to say stupid stuff, then attack him. Also... demand each debater be searched for electronic devices.

I think it takes the teeth out of some of his extremist agitators. They can't effectively be rallied if they hear him specifically denouncing the things they think they're fighting for. I'm glad it should take the gas out of some of them.

Yes, first impression, it was meh. But I think that was because we all expected Biden to choke. After studying the facts, Trump destroyed Biden.

I think it's natural. Look at people watching their favorite team (back in the days when we watched sports) - "Why did you throw that pass???" "How could you let in that goal???" But when the team wins, that's forgotten.

Trump hit Biden like a junk yard dog.

Caused him to stutter.

Show the "deer in the headlights" gaze.

Lose his thought pattern.

Forget what he was reading.

Lose track of what he was hearing via the audio device.

Yell rude things.

Lie Lie Lie.

No it’s because you are stuck in an echo chamber on here.
