This list of racist comments and actions by Joe Biden is by no means exhaustive, but it needs to be spread. Each of these [EDIT “15”] examples is supported by primary sources (I particularly included ones the left finds credible).

1. Joe Biden explains why Iowa schools outperform DC schools. It’s because there aren’t as many minorities in Iowa schools.

“There’s less than 1% of the population of Iowa that is African American. There’s probably less than 4% or 5% that is, that are minorities. What is it in Washington [D.C.]? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”

2. Joe Biden sponsored an amendment which barred the federal government from withholding funds to schools who refused to desegregate. NBC of all places reported this. 3. Joe Biden said integration of schools by busing would result in his children “growing up in a racial jungle.” Even the joke snopes.com had to admit that was true. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/biden-racial-jungle-quote/ “Unless we do something about this [integration], my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this.”

4. In support of his 1994 crime bill that led to the mass incarceration of African Americans, Joe Biden said “We have predators on our streets that society has in fact, in part because of its neglect, created…they are beyond the pale many of those people, beyond the pale. And it's a sad commentary on society. We have no choice but to take them out of society….a cadre of young people, tens of thousands of them, born out of wedlock, without parents, without supervision, without any structure, without any conscience developing because they literally … because they literally have not been socialized.”

8. Joe Biden said that Barack Obama was the “FIRST” mainstream African American who was “articulate and bright and clean and nice looking.” https://youtu.be/EgIFV7jXBFQ The clear implication is that every other mainstream African American figure was inarticulate, dumb, unhygienic, and unattractive. This includes American hero Frederick Douglass.

13. Joe Biden mocked Indian Americans for running 7-11 stores: “ In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking,”” https://youtu.be/AEG1wuoa2hs

14. Joe Biden, while talking about children sitting in his lap and rubbing his leg hair, referred to “learning about roaches.” https://youtu.be/oihV9yrZRHg Neither Biden nor his campaign will explain what he meant by “roaches,” but that term is an old racial slur used to describe black children.

15. When asked about what should be done to repair the legacy of slavery in this country, Biden answered that black mothers need the government to help them raise their children: “We bring social workers into [black people’s] homes and parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help. They [black people] don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio. Considering the fact that Trump won the Rosa Parks award along with dozens of other recognitions for his work on behalf of the black community, it seems that Chris Wallace’s request that Trump denounce white supremacy would have been better directed at Joe Biden.

Biden’s supposed work on behalf of black people comes from a place of pity and patronizing condescension, not respect for black people.
