“Racism” is really a non-problem - a media-created hysteria meant to divide. Take the lynching example. First, lynchings don’t even happen but let’s pretend they did. The problem with lynchings isn’t “racism”, it’s the lynching. It’s the act of murder. We should call them “lynchers”, because that is what the actual problem is. With all of this shit, the “racism” is never the actual problem. The problem is the criminal action people take. A lot of this comes from these “hate crime” laws, where the problem stops being the crime, but the motivation for the crime, or the “hate”. This creates a kind of madness where everyone starts obsessing over what thoughts someone had when they committed a crime, but who cares. Thoughts are intangible and difficult to prove. Focus on the actions. If there is a murder, just treat it as a murder, not a “hate murder”. Otherwise we get this situation where people conflate thoughts with crimes and everyone gets hatephobic. Like if a dude hates some race but never acts on it and never breaks the law and never does anything negative to the race he hates, but just sits there and has racist thoughts, who really cares? Let him just think whatever. If he breaks the law, then arrest him for that. We don’t even need to add this whole other layer of mind-reading on top of it.
