I have family that normally hate Trump and even though they complained that he interrupted a lot, they actually really didn't like Biden calling Trump a clown or telling him to shut up.
I explained that the interrupting was 100% a strategy to wind up Biden and because it's better to interrupt than be interrupted in terms of optics and subconscious bias, but it was interesting to hear something that wasn't entirely "orange man bad".
Even got a compliment for "obviously being a good businessman, and the country is like a business".
There’s going to be a pretty big subconscious influence from this debate. Trump constantly being the aggressor, has alpha body language.
Biden was on the defense 99% of the time and couldn’t take his eyes off the floor.
People may think Trump was being an ass, but they won’t remember that when the go to the polls. They’ll remember who is weaker.
The strategy was to confuse Biden because his ability to go back and forth with different topics is weak. Also, by doing so, you get under his skin and he blurts out things that people saw as a reason they didn't like Trump. Biden saying "shut up" and "clown", made them even in the minds of those simple minded people. Trump to them is the one who says nasty things. So Biden doing it made them recognize how much weaker he was.

Yeah I think this was it. All they have on GEOTUS is interrupting, and although I personally think that is rude as fuck it's not like Joe took the high road on it. He's just not as good at it. It's also the only way to defend yourself when they throw out 4-5 different accusations just hoping something sticks, which is way beyond rude.

It was a fun debate. This Chris Wallace guy seems like a decent challenger, but I didn't like his foreign policy - Paris Climate Accord, Trade Deals etc. Overall I felt like Trump came out slightly on top.

This is what I don't get about fake news media. These people are driven by dollars, and they are cashing in on Trump. It would make more sense for them to push for a Trump 2nd term than to get him out of office because the dollars will stop if he is not elected.
