Got Joe to insult Bernie, disavowed that he was a socialist, admitted he didnt support the new green deal, and got Joe to brag that he was the leader of the democrat party not the radical left. Joe sounded pretty moderate and you know they hate moderates.

Sounds like the strategy was to alienate Joe from his far left base.
