Ehh, the Proud Boys aren't exactly an organization you wanna be associated with. Not white supremacist, per say, but even Gavin McInnes (one of the founders) has distanced himself from them because they have taken a turn for the worst

Well Max and John we’re guilty asf so that’s also part of why McInnes distanced himself. Violence is never the answer. When far right-wing people use violence to press their ideology that makes them no better than Antifa. The reason I say “not white supremacist, per say” is because while they are not explicitly white supremacist, an extremely far right organization that resorts to violence (albeit no where even comparable to Antifa or BLM which is why it is stupid this was even brought up in the debate to begin with) is bound to share some ideological similarities with white supremacists. McInnes didn’t want the movement to be about race but there is a battle within the Proud Boys about whether it’s about race specifically or simply about culture (what McInnes intended). The Proud Boys are not explicitly white supremacist, but there is definitely talk among some in the ranks of shifting towards something more akin to white supremacy. However, to group the Proud Boys as a whole in with white supremacists isn’t correct. Also, on a slightly different note, Biden’s camp referring to Rittenhouse as a white supremacist is reprehensible and I hope they get sued for it. There is literally (and I mean literally) zero evidence pointing to that in the Rittenhouse case.
