I'm pretty sure way back then I would have turned in some BS about how my parents were members of the Federalist party but my race expected me to be a Whig. Anytime a school assignment wanted me to talk about myself, beliefs, etc. I always just made up something stupid. It might as well have been creative writing. It's been 20 years since I was in school even.

This is totally BS, if they turn in something about being a Republican then the school will take extra effort to groom them. I'm also not sure why someone in school needs to have chosen a party at all.
