I didn't say that all cops are on our side - did I ? I'm just reporting local conditions. Your mileage may vary.

When I read, "No cop is going to enforce this" I took that to mean, "No cop anywhere in the USA is going to enforce this". My point is only that, yes, some cops will, especially if you live in a liberal shithole.

If you are fortunate enough to live away from the liberal shitholes, then go thank your local cops for job well done and make sure they know they have your support.

By the way, I am not the one downvoting you. I only upvote on this platform. I upvoted your original comment, because I thought it raised some interesting points. I also appreciate your reply. Have another.

I think people should realize that police forces vary a lot in policy and attitude from city to city.

Here in New York - not only do the cops often defy the mayor - they also defy the Police Commissioner if he acts like DiBlasio's stooge.

They have a strong union.

Yeah the cops have been cool all summer. We have been hanging out on the street and having parties in the park until 4am and the only time they came in was to ask to lower the music. I'm sure you'll come across your rats eventually but the cops here have had it. If anybody does end up with a fine they should go find Dante & take it out on him.

There are lot of idiots on this thread who read news stories about Ohio or California - and then go spouting off to people who actually live here - like they know better about what is going on here than actual residents.

The story was about New York. Yes I said that New York cops won't enforce.
