Carlson doesn't understand Trump's strategy.

Wallace and Biden played their part as best they could, whining and crying while actively stomping on Trump. Typical crybully behavior.

Anyone who thinks Trump was so un-civil needs to re-watch the debate with a fresh point of view. In the moment the whole thing felt uncomfortable because of Wallace and Biden's coordinated crybullying.

I for one remember the 2016 debates all too well and found this debate frustrating because of the obvious ridiculous bullshit.

I don’t think a lot of people will. That’s kind of the problem

You don't have to understand the strategy for it to be effective.

When 66% of Telemundo viewers and C-SPAN viewers said Trump won, he won.

Wow ! Thanks

Looking at c-span now, it is 69% of 300k respondents saying Trump won

Wow, I didn't realize it was still ongoing - thanks!

Dear God, please let those be the election results. :)

Got a link to that poll? I need to drop it on my liberal friend.

Did they really? I didn’t see that.

I didn’t say it wouldn’t be effective, I just think it could have been more effective. The debate kind of turned off some people who I had been convincing to vote Trump, and it was sad to see. Though I think Biden lost far more votes that night.

Yes, and the C-SPAN poll is now up to 69% "Trump won."

It is sad if someone's mind can be changed against Trump based on one debate. Maybe you can get them to see it another way, with Wallace so obviously biased and helping Joe.

I dont see why. To me its so obvious I roll my eyes when I see people like Tucker shit the bed in regards to it. Clearly he is smart enough to understand, but he isnt alone. Styx and others made the same mistake. Really annoying and dumb, "to be fair" why? Why focus on being fair, just be real about it. Nobody cares about fair. They just want to win. Ask the Antifa dorks about that.

Tucker wants an intellectual debate like in his college debate club. The average voter doesn't understand the details of the policies anyway and just wants to see how the candidates react under stress and if they won't get bullied.

Intellectual debate?

This is WWIII.

And it's a hot war.

Trump did exactly the right thing.

Wallace and Biden were doing some seriously coordinated crybullying.

As I have said, when you are walking into a trap you don't play by their rules.

I’m not saying it makes sense. If people really paid attention, they would see Trump accomplished the mission he set out to do.

But people don’t pay attention. A vast majority of people don’t, just look at the reaction. And Trump should know that. He’s not at a rally.

Overall I think he did well by forcing Biden to take or flip flop on radical positions. I just don’t think he won over any new voters. I don’t think that was his intent either, but some things he just could have handled better.

I don’t mind ‘to be fair’ and whatever comes after it. When you watch a show, eg Mourning Joe and Mika, and it is clearly parsing the good for Biden and the negative on Trump, my mind discounts everything that comes out of their mouths.

I’ve seen all the MSM, including Fox, use smears that took these candidates out of context in order to make their points.

To Fox hosts and contributors; Biden messes up enough on his own. No need to ruin your credibility by pulling dirty tricks on his ‘innocent’ mistakes that anyone could make, just to score points for Trump. It insults us.

Nah, he's spot on. Trump was unprepared, and I can admit to thinking Biden was mentally gone when it's clear he's not. I've watched too many chopped videos of his worst moments.

Trump is the man, but there's plenty he's done wrong. Not firing Wray's seditious ass is fucking him hard right now. The FBI is not going to do any investigating of all the voter fraud, and they won't even admit Antifa is a problem.

The goal of the debate was to rattle biden, find his weak spots, and mainly to divide the left. The people that won't vote for Trump will not be convinced to vote for him at this point...but they can be convinced to not vote for biden, or not vote at all. Trump got biden to disavow the far left, the bernie supporters. I have seen their reaction and they are pissed off at biden, just have to ruffle their feathers a bit more, split the dems and progressives, hell some are saying they will now vote for Trump out of spite

Those are good points and I agree that he was successful in doing that. But it was frustrating to watch the president miss opportunity after opportunity to destroy Wallace and Biden's weak attacks.

Did Trump not read his own executive order on critical race theory? All he had to say was "that executive order condemns any discrimination based on race, or any rules or training in federally funded institutions that subvert the goal of a color blind society. Got a problem with that, Chris?".... Or on "fine people". Good God Mr. President, just say "10 seconds later I said" and I'm not talking about nazis or white supremacists. They should be condemned ", and so Biden's entire campaign launch, and your narrative, is based on a lie"

I could go on and show how he failed to kick their bullshit back in their faces on every setup question because he clearly wasn't prepared to do so. It pissed me the fuck off

Carlson is there to keep you hooked and will throw the President under the bus when he gets the chance, just like Hugh Hewitt.
