Agree, my conservative religious husband does house chores. Years ago I read research that the more religious and conservative a man is the more chores at home he does on average because they value traditional women's work and what it provides for society. The Libs I dated before my husband would not lift a finger. I have been a career housewife and equal partner and dismissing my work is an outgrowth of feminism. I have also met very competent men who stay home. They get treated even worse socially
I jokingly tell my partner that the kitchen is no place for a woman. We split domestic duties equally. Sometime I do more in a week, or vice versa. Things always need to get done, that’s all there is to it. No need to scorekeep.
We both work full time. She makes a bit more money than I do— we do pretty well.
I am back in school full time so hubby is doing more and I hired cleaners. When I was home full time I did more housework as it was my job. At other times I was gone and he took over. Score keeping is a rapid route to divorce. I also don't think other people's arrangements are anyone else's business as long as it works for them and everyone should be treated with respect regardless of career choice. Staying out of personal business leads to a more civil society

Totally agree. This community used to be less hostile toward people whose situations were within some “standard” deviation from fundamentalist Christian, but it seems less and less so as time moves on.
It would be fascinating to see exactly how closely certain outspoken critics of non-orthodox ways of living actually adhere to what they espouse, and how that may or may not benefit themselves and others around them. Idealism is not realism, but we can all LARP online, I guess, as long as we don’t call virtue signaling exactly what it is...
yeah wtf, says something about that guy if he thought "doing chores" was emasculating. It's emasculating to let your wife do all the work you can do yourself
OOooh I see. What happens when this man is working super long hours so she gets out the chainsaw to cut up and fell trees that need to be taken care of? Who handles the investments for this man who is working? At another point she has 3 under 4 and is wiped out from no sleep and things need to get done? What if she gets sick? It is possible to have a partnership in a traditional marriage, not an absolute wall between tasks. If he get injured and disabled is she supposed to still stay home or do they switch spots and pitch in for the family? Life is complicated.
Only beta cuck losers feel so "threatened" by others they have to pray at the altar of "tradition"
If you're a man, and not a cuck, you should be able to do whatever the fuck you want. If you want to stay home and send a woman off to work, you can damn well do it. It's not emasculating.
Fuck I wish I could sit at home watching TV and cooking and gaming and pissing around all day while a woman went off and brought home money. Seems pretty goddamned ideal living to me.
But then again I'm not a cuck who has to be "traditional" to make up for his insecurities
Anyone who wishes they could sit at home all day playing video games while their wife works is, quite literally, a cuck. That’s literally what cucked liberal fsggots
Again, it's actually the complete opposite and anyone who isn't an insecure beta knows this.
Anyone who would rather work than sit at home and enjoy themselves is covering for some latent, deep-held insecurity. They need to "prove" something because they're complete fucking losers otherwise.
Imagine how completely cucked you have to be to think it's more alpha to do work rather than have somebody else do it for you.
It's why people with money get fucking maids. Cleaning a toilet yourself doesn't make you a bigger man, it makes you a fucking loser cleaning a toilet.
My wife actually makes more than I do right now because she's super high up in her company and a badass but we both work because we don't have kids just yet. If we have kids it might make more sense for me to do the housework, there's no shame in that.
How is that emasculating? In what world are house chores only for women? Just asking as a stay at home day dad , that does most of the house chores.

None of this is a problem in 2020.

Your partner?
We aren’t married. Is this term uncommon?
yeah wtf, says something about that guy if he thought "doing chores" was emasculating. It's emasculating to let your wife do all the work you can do yourself
I guess I’m more of a traditionalist. Men are supposed to work and provide for the family, the women take care of the children.

There are certain rigid viewpoints here that won’t be changed. Don’t beat your head against a wall.
Funny how they showed up after .win became more popular. In the early days people were reasonable so I wonder how many are trolls
Yeah you're a faggot loser cuck, basically.

Have fun with your beta-male lifestyle.

You are definitely some retard antifa faggot that found his way into the wrong forum
Speaking of being in the wrong forum, you should go back to 4chan where you belong, troll.
Sounds like someone needs to return to tradition.
I would give up my job to be a house husband.
My wife actually makes more than I do right now because she's super high up in her company and a badass but we both work because we don't have kids just yet. If we have kids it might make more sense for me to do the housework, there's no shame in that.
I would fucking love to stay at home all day and play with my kids and do housework. It's not 1950, that shouldn't be controversial..
