Apparently Trek doesn't think people should be allowed to publicly support our favorite President. Sucks because I've owned two Trek bikes. Will never own another one.

69
Knowmadicsoul 69 points ago +69 / -0

Thing is, it's not only Trek and that's why I think there are many more people who silently/secretly support and will vote for Trump than the polls reflect. Problem is that the left have pulled out all stops using Covid-19 to lie cheat and steal away the election by way of ballet harvesting, throwing away GOP ballots, massive fraud, and whatever else they think they can get away with.

Chinese are very smart. Never would have believed a ridiculously fake pandemic narrative would hold water for 8 MONTHS let alone 8 days.

We're such a wicked, stupid, and fallen people. Why don't we just repent and go back to Renaissance?

There's no shame in admitting a mistake. There's shame in committing the same mistake constantly.

What you describe did happen in large numbers last weekend. I added my prayers to the effort as well.

What's a trek bike? Never heard of them, but I don't buy overpriced stuff.

18
JwPATX 18 points ago +19 / -1

I had one when I was younger. A Trek Mountain Track. I bent the fork on it one time/when I went in to replace it, the guy said, “oh, well this bike isn’t really made for mountain biking, which is why the fork bent.”

I thought that was outrageous, given the name of the model, and never bought another.

9
stjdalen 9 points ago +9 / -0

Armstrong and his U.S Postal team made Trek famous

4
JwPATX 4 points ago +4 / -0

Well, this was back in the mid 90s when Armstrong was still largely unknown and doing mountain bike races/I met him a Kelly Creek Bike Race when I went with my Boy Scout troop. I didn’t know or care who he was at that point though..

4
glow-operator-2-0 4 points ago +4 / -0

Hahaha. Wow. Never did mountain biking cause I'm more into touring.

I think the fanciest bike I have is a swing bike, but it's a classic from the 70s. The new ones have two similar sized wheels, which look weird to me.

15
DavidLoPan 15 points ago +15 / -0

Trek is owned by a super lefty that ran for governor of Wisconsin a few years ago.

11
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 11 points ago +11 / -0

Leftism cannot withstand dissent, and therefore leftists cannot tolerate dissent. Yuri tried to warn us, not enough people heard or heeded the warning, and now it has come to pass.

4
Trump4a3rdTerm 4 points ago +4 / -0

They want us to cower and be afraid of expressing support for our favorite President. The anti-American freaks want us, the normal people who don't want to see America destroyed, to feel marginalized.

Bikes are fine if they stay off the fucking roads.

There are plenty of places that have bike paths etc. along rivers or in parks or whatever. I'm fine with this. I used to do it when I was younger, just chill tf out, listen to a book, ride along a river or something and get some exercise.

I have a brand new foldable bike in the back of my SUV I've been waiting to break out for this exact purpose.

But goddamn I hate cyclists, especially the gay shit they wear and the fact they are a massive traffic hazard.

We don't let you go fucking hiking on a road, but you hop on a bike and suddenly it's okay?

Self-absorbed cucks. I wish it was legal to hit them.

I was driving the other day and there were three or four of them. There's a goddamned bike lane on the side of the road (which shouldn't be there anyway).. and I swear to Christ instead of hugging the side of the road like they should, they were nearly out of their own damn lane. Pretty sure their mirrors or handlebars or whatever were straight up over the line.

To the point where as I passed them I was within like two inches of accidentally ending their life and heading to jail. They didn't give two fucks.

Can't stand these people.

8
Sliced_Beef_Brisket 8 points ago +8 / -0

You can't switch lanes an pass something with a cruising speed of 25 mph?

4
ZombieJSBach 4 points ago +4 / -0

I've wondered if people like this get this mad when they get stuck behind a tractor or something similar.

1
Kweebecker 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hey, maybe they were transporting Biden to the debates, and couldn't jostle him too much by passing a clearly visible (since they commented on the appearance) slow-moving vehicle on a standard width American road going in the same direction as them. You never know. Maybe they're an incompetent driver, incompetent drivers can be pedes too, but they should probably start taking the bus if a bicycle on a paved road presents some type of insurmountable obstacle to them. I'd hate for something like a car to be in the same road as them, those are far larger, and far harder to pass, they'd be simply traumatized about sharing a road with a car.

-2
OllyOlly -2 points ago +1 / -3

Not everybody lives in rural South Dakota or some shit.

In my neighbourhood, which isn't even the downtown of a major city, on the main road there's only one lane and the streets are fairly small.

You get some dipshit cyclist who can't be bothered to pay attention and stay well inside their bike lane and essentially hug the side of the road, and your option is to either sit behind them going 15 miles an hour, or attempt to incredibly carefully pass them, but you've got about two inches between yourself and a jail cell if anything ever happened.

So they can safely fuck right off.

1
orc_lives_matter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Going 15mph

attempt to carefully pass them

I wish I could kill those cyclists costing me valuable SECONDS of time that I will most likely make up in the accelerated road rage following this mildly inconvenient encounter.

1
Sliced_Beef_Brisket 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's weird. Every down town I've been though has two lanes and I'm pretty sure you can legally pass slow moving vehicles across a double yellow.

3
Tsspop 3 points ago +6 / -3

Bro I hope one day you see how much of an assfuck faggot you are. Maybe get off your lazy ass and cycle on a proper bicycle before judging AND THREATENING others for literally following the law. Deport this hillary loving cuck

Local roads are 92% generally funded (as in not car taxes). That 92% comes from things like income tax and property tax. People that cycle are more wealthy than average; therefore paying more than their fair share of the taxes needed to maintain the same roads they are using. Cyclists are also 50% likely to own a truck and more likely than a non-cyclist to own an actual car.

5
Sexysnakemonster 5 points ago +5 / -0

Found the guy from Texas lol

I know a guy from DFW who decided to ride a bike to work one day (he's pretty good ole boy but wanted to save some money and get in shape). First day out, on his way home a truck came by honking and he felt something odd on his back. So he stopped and was like, "holy fuck I've been shot". Somebody straight up shot his ass with a .22 for riding a bike.

1
wehavetogoback 1 point ago +1 / -0

74

I’m not shitting you, they think that’s racist.

16

8

They go along with it because otherwise they get fired. Just like the Trek rider

3

Yeah I’m sure all those cycling faggots are secret Trump supporters, just biding their time to make cycling great again

4
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'd bet a sizable sum that many of them are Trump supporters. I have MAGA friends that are really into cycling. Once the Left subverts an organization they will punish any dissent, so dissenters usually remain quiet to avoid punishment.

My favorite part of the Tour de France was when the winner of the daily stage, after sitting in the peloton for 5 hours next to 200 sweating men without wearing masks, was forced to wear a mask when giving interviews

34
perrarm2 34 points ago +34 / -0

Did you watch the last stage? They (the race organizers) were trying to do a PRO-BLM message before the start of the stage where everyone would ride for the first 2.5 miles or so of the race locked in arms with the only black rider (Kevin Reza) leading the pack. The riders refused it and the announcers were all confused because it was planned.

19
stjdalen 19 points ago +20 / -1

No, I didn't see it but I'm not surprised they tried to destroy pro cycling with that crap. Good for the riders. Pro cycling has always been a blue collar sport, the working man's sport. A tough sport for tough men. If you want to make it you have to be on your bike everyday for 8 hours in all kinds of weather. Not a sport for snowflakes

14
perrarm2 14 points ago +14 / -0

The organizers, commentators, the sponsors, and Bike manufacturers are doing their best to get BLM's message in the sport. The riders are having none of it. Trek has taken a big hit lately since the police departments use their bikes which were used to defend against the rioters.

8
orc_lives_matter 8 points ago +8 / -0

As someone who used to love Runescape during its early days, and even into the early to mid 2010s, fuck that game and what it's become.

2
JediMasterPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Indeed. It makes me sad.

Yet another MMO killed by MTX. I don't have it in me to play it anymore but it still holds a place in my heart. 😢

The first game I experienced this bullshit was on this 2D MMO called Darkages. They stopped giving game updates besides the stupid "item shop" they implemented, that had both cosmetics and pay to win shit. Game died to less than 100 people by the time I finally quit for good. But god, I miss that game. 😤

2
RedditIs4Retards 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's a surprising amount of Trump supporters on runescape though lmao.

I've seen guys with names like blue lives matter and I always say Trump 2020 at the exchange, and often when one faggot says he's racist, multiple people have joined in to clown him

2
stratocaster_patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well we sort of have been for years. I know I and many others see companies and brands that they try and cancel and that makes us start buying their stuff permanently. I had no idea who Goya was a few months ago and now when I buy beans it's all I buy. As a side sleeper I don't care much for MyPillow but I bought and use them. Whenever a lefty boycotts someone I just start buying those products and patronizing those businesses. Likewise I've cancelled Netflix, won't see certain movies, etc. I can't think of a more effective way to stand up to it.

Trek bikes made in CHYNA now. Have been for years.

5
Deathlessly 5 points ago +5 / -0

What's funny is, a lot of Trek bikes are made by Giant which is a Taiwanese company. Taiwan. A place where China wants to dominate. When China turned Commie, the good people who sensed it fled to Taiwan.

Giant's high-end bikes are so advanced, they weave the carbon fiber specific to the frame's needs.

I don't know if they've (Trek) moved it to China.

0
stratocaster_patriot 0 points ago +1 / -1

The only reason China even knows about carbon fiber and how to lay it up is because we taught them. Europeans too.

2
Deathlessly 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is no secret that Carbon fiber composites are a Western invention.

In fact, it was the factory unions that forced companies to move their manufacturing overseas.

Schwinn factory union workers were responsible for the collapse of Western bike manufacturing and contributed to Giant to become, well, a giant.

You'll pay half and get the same or better stuff

They are like the rockauto of bikes

3
0io- 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you're handy and mechanically inclined you can have a lot of fun building bikes yourself. Just buy a couple of frames off ebay and the components and bike tools and put it together. You'd get something a lot nicer than what Trek would sell you and spend less than $1500. (Much much less.) Youtube literally has videos you can watch for free for any step that gives you trouble. Bikes aren't all that complicated. It's a fun weekend project / hobby (if you like that sort of thing.)

It also makes you a lot more comfortable if anything ever goes wrong, because you'll know exactly how everything works and goes together.

3
Erikabodereka 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fatback. Made in Alaska, I think.

1
wehavetogoback 1 point ago +1 / -0

IMO you're better off getting a couple used bikes, if you were willing to spend $1500, you can definitely get a couple nice bikes well under $750 each. That way you'renot buying from china or some shit company, your money is going to a local person, and that's 2 less bikes that have to be made and shipped here with the environmental damage that causes.

Plus you can save a lot of money and if you get a bike that needs a tune up you can do it with your kids and teach them.

6
