And now we are seeing if we can get enough votes with 6 more senators than they have AND THE VP to break a tie. Because we hold the line on our rights but never push back. When was the last time we GAINED civil liberties? More guns, more religious freedom or freedom of speech? These things are in the constitution and we are losing them. Meanwhile whatever BS made up “rights” lefties believe in are constitutionally protected somehow despite no mention of them

I dunno why you think GOP politicians in any way represent the average conservative. Maybe 5% of Congress does, certainly not the Senate GOP. They have screwed Trump at every opportunity beyond judges - the crumbs turtle throws out to keep those "conservatives" you speak of placated. Not to mention the 2 years of stalling the House did in 2016-2018. Until we vote out the majority of Congress and retake city councils and state govts, nothing will ever change.
We aren't pussies so much as we are comfortable and self-interested. It takes a hell of a lot more to spur conservatives into collective action. Liberals are mostly jealous piss-pots living in squalor with nothing better to do that protest and riot because they see people with more than them. We have the luxury of watching the riots for a minute, then turning off the TV and going out to our patio and wondering whether we should have new vinyl siding installed or if it can go another year.
