How do you receive a mail in ballot in California when you no longer live there. The ballot was mailed to a CA address and you claim to have moved from Cali, so how did they even get this? Unless the person who bought their house sent them a picture of it.

Maybe a family member still lives at the address?

My uncle who has never lived at my parents address in California, who moved to the Midwest 8 years ago, received a ballot addressed to him at my parents address this week.

My dad's new address shows up for me. Had to have it corrected for the 2018 midterms. No mail-in ballot then but I've never lived there and never had anything pegged to that address.

People will believe anything they see on the internet. That's why it's so effective in swaying elections, as 2008 taught us.

I've gotten a jury duty notice from a county in SC at an address in GA 5 years after I moved. Not saying this was an oversight but its not impossible.
