I am the owner of a small business and I am being denied work because I can't wear a mask while working. Due to medical reasons, I can't wear a mask over my mouth and nose. I elect to wear a face shield instead since I live in a cucked blue state. I can't use a face shield while working because of the equipment I operate. The location in queston's attorney just told me I can't come on the property if I don't agree to the COVID procedures (masks, etc). He also asked what's preventing me from wearing a mask! I didn't think he could do that. Any advice from fellow pedes? Any help is appreciated.

Find an attorney and sue. Make a filing with HIPAA.

Talk to a lawyer

There was a lawyer group asking for clients on here a month or so ago.

Do a search. Maybe it’ll pop.

Can you wear a PAPR? The effort to breathe should be the same as if you had no mask on. They're expensive but they may be compelled to provide one for you.

Have an attorney send them a contract stating that they will supply you with an appropriate breathing apparatus and accept responsibility for any harm that may occur from wearing said breathing apparatus.

Contact your local Department of Labor office and talk it over. Be aware this will take months to get anything done, I once waited a full month to get word that a meeting was set up, waiting a few more weeks just to get things started. If you're in deep blue territory be aware that the food industry may be tough to gain the upper hand on.
