Trump is more than a CEO. He literally owns the company. So he can give himself however much money he wants. He could sell his company and take a bath in the cash if he wanted.

Trump's companies and corporations pay tens of millions $$$$ in taxes.

Trump's personal, federal tax return is not relevant. It's relevant for people who make $80k a year salary. Not a guy who owns hundreds of companies and other ventures.
