Help me out but I think the election won't be decided in the house but in the senate if it comes to that.

It’s decided in the House, but like other commenters said it’s one vote per state. So the one rep from Wyoming has one vote and the 53 reps from California also have one vote total. Republicans have a majority in 26 states currently, leading to Trump victory

Are we talking about the electors? As far as I know the president of the senate in this case Vice President Pence does the tally of the state electors and decides which to accept and the house has no constitutional authority to do anyting about it.

Amendment XII:

... The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. ...

Pence and the Senate count the votes, but the House picks the new president if the Electors don’t give a majority to someone
