Just wrote this in another comment, but, unfortunately for Pelosi, it doesn't matter. If there's an electoral college tie, it's decided in the house, but not by simple majority. Each state delegation gets 1 vote. Meaning, all of the representatives from California get 1 collective vote, all of the representatives from Wyoming get 1 collective vote, etc. 50 total votes. Most states are Republican.

If it goes to the house, Trump wins.

Let's take Washington as an example. I believe the majority of reps are Republicans, even though Dems control the state. Would their sole vote be for Trump?

The representatives vote on which way the state will vote. Blue state republicans may face pressure to vote Biden if their state went for Biden, but the same might be true for red state Dems.

Biden will not last 4 years. The House would decide the president, but the Senate decides Vice President. This means even in the unlikely scenario the House broke the tie, the GOP keeps the Senate and then picks Pence as VP. Pence would be president within 4 years and Trump could be Pence's VP once Biden is outed as being mentally unfit for office. Trump could then run in 2024.
