Trump should ABSOLUTELY call him out on this. In the first five minutes.
"So, Mr. Scully, before I get started here, I just wanted to let the audience know that you once served as an intern in Joe's Senate office. I thought that was something they might like to know about you. But proceed, I'm sure you won't be giving Joe any help."
Actually now that I think of it, I would have him leave off the last line. Just be understated. It'll be the first thing out of Trump's mouth so everyone will be paying very close attention.

And then, right on to his first point. Everyone's mouth will be open.

That would be perfect.

He also should have called out Chris for being a democrat in front of everyone but...for whatever reason he doesn’t.
I don't think being a registered Democrat is as big a conflict of interest as having once worked for one of the candidates, though.
Perfect 👌
Thank you!
He won't. But that's good, because it allows Trump to surprise everyone and make it a story right before - or as - the debate happens.
That's actually a retweet so it isn't Scully...but it is the NYT's token "conservative" David Brooks.
