We are the hero generation for a reason.

For those that are not aware, Strauss Howe Generational Theory.

There's also a theory I heard YEARS ago, before GEOTUS was even in the picture, that America goes through a major political realignment roughly every 40 years. If we go by our current timeline of Trump coming in and changing shit from the top down (2015-202?), then the last alignment would be around Reagans time, though not how you'd think. Yes, Reagan's administration was based but that's about the time leftism started taking root in media and the school system and the "New" Democrats (1976-1995). Go 40 years before that and yes, FDR was president, but the realignment was below him, giving us Eisenhower, victory in WW2, and the boom that made us the power house we are over the next 30 years (1940-1975). Go 40 years before that, the realignment was the other direction again, Woodrow Wilson, Imperialism, Federal Reserve, Income taxes (1895-1920). 40 years before that, birth of the Republican party, Lincoln, ending slavery, etc...(1860-1880). Then go 40 years before that and you get the seeds of civil war, lame duck presidents, manifest destiny, and Monroe Doctrine(good and bad) (1820-1840). Then finally, 40 years before that, the founding of our country (1776-1791).

Reagan's administration was based

1986 gun control act, immigration amnesty.

At best Reagan was "less worse".

He was like a Trump who made a few mistakes (emptying the asylums also). All it takes is a few mistakes for the enemy to exploit them. He wasn't bad, just not perfect.

Right in line with that era of realignment then.

This time, we eliminate the psychopaths.

That will put a stop to it.

Start with Industrial and Organizational Psychology. They test and interview potential corporate leaders to ensure only psychopaths are selected.

Every time someone says President Reagan's admin was based, I'll remind you, He had dementia thru out his presidency. Sure, easy to get along with, didn't accomplish any of his campaign promises, thinking in particular of the 300 ship navy. I don't want a Biden dementia Presidency, and I surely wouldn't hold President Reagan up as an example of what to do.

Fair point. He was still better than the alternative at the time and the country was held together and ran well. Doesn't diminish the damage done, but we've certainly had worse. Good thing we got GEOTUS now.
