It's been the perpetual Achilles' heel of conservatives. When Republicans aren't cucking out because they're the uniparty, they're doing it out of a desire to be polite and preserve the peace. Democrats stick signs in their front yards and plant stickers all over their cars, unafraid that conservatives are going to do anything to them. When conservatives put campaign signs in their yards or on their cars, leftists vandalize them. So conservatives...stop putting signs in their yards and stickers on their cars. They sit quietly, keeping their heads down and their mouths shut, because they don't want to rock the boat.

Finally Trump came along and said "fuck all that, I'm going to be aggressive and loud and confrontational," and it's driven the left absolutely insane with hatred. He was the first conservative politician to stand up to them, unafraid.

Leftists are like a child throwing a tantrum, and for decades conservatives were the timid parent giving them whatever they wanted to make them stop. Trump pulls their pants down and smacks their asses red.
