I like Scott but he vacillates wildly. The slightest thing gets him off the Trump train. And the next day, he's back on. I cut him slack because the dude is basically a Bernie Bro who saw the light.
Achieving the same outcome: a better America, is his, and Trump's goal.
He's even frequently said he's left of Bernie, the difference is he's data/experimentally driven and not just blindly ideological. I won't fault him on his anger, The Don did miss a kill shot.
I'm a lefty too actually. I think you'd be surprised at how many of us support Trump.
Think about renewable energy. Sounds great right? Except we aren't quite there yet with the tech to do full renewables. California said fuck it, we'll do it anyway and started shutting down energy plants and now we have rolling black outs.
It's a simple reality, that is only accepted by some on the left, that you must have a workable plan and then implement it. Plan first, implementation second. For others that order is negotiable and those are the people who implement retarded shit that doesn't work... because they haven't got a workable plan yet.
Same thing goes with a lot of liberal social policies. Many of us liberals want to see these policies enacted, but... and here is the key point, only if we can actually make them work. There is no point in trying to implement a policy that is going to fail, saying "we'll figure it out as we go" only to have it blow up and fuck everything.
I agree with those who say "real socialism" hasn't been tried. The problem is, almost all of those people are impatient and shortsighted and so they don't understand that their version of socialism isn't going to work, because they are doing the same shit that failed every time before.
Trump isn't nearly as far right as people make him out to be, and if rather have somebody who is intelligently trying to make America great rather than some fucking moron who has some pie in the sky pipe dream that doesn't work. I think maybe some day socialism could in theory work, but we aren't there yet and we aren't ready yet.
Capitalism is working decently enough I don't think we should ditch it until we come up with a better alternative. Order of operations, understand? Come up with something better first, implement second.
As long as democrats can't grasp this concept, I can't really accept voting for their hairbrained shenanigans.
Socialism / communism is by design unjust and tyrannical, there is no "real" socialism past the level of a family.
I understand the siren song of the ideal you are striving for, and I'll be the first to read a sci-fi novel with a logistic computer that can implement a "real" communist utopia with maximized utility for everyone.
But human nature won't allow it to work. I hate to be uncompromising, but unfortunately the path of compromise between freedom and tyranny leads only in one direction, and the path back to freedom is a bloody one.
I hope you'll read some based economics (Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman) and philosophy. Reject Nihilism, Hegel, Marx, Foucault, postmodernism and deconstruction.
What you describe as plan first / implementation second, I would call consequentialism - or the idea of knowing the outcome before making a decision.
The wonderful emotion of wanting to help people becomes perverse when you hurt them even if unintentionally as the case in California's energy policies - you must know the consequences of policies, decisions, or positions you take.
I'm rambling so I'll sleep now, but try to find your core values and stick to them, communism spreads through demoralization (see Yuri Bezmenov) and destruction of the past as a way to control to present.
He thinks he is a master persuader and talks about stuff like hypnotism. I think be regularly is trying things in an experimental way, but I also think he is an attention whore.
"Trump has only denounced white supremacy 33 times. He needs to do it 34 times. Not that he's done anything specifically between his last denunciation and now to make me think he now supports white supremacy, its just that he needs to do it whenever I want him to." -Retard Scott Adams
He said he took it personal that Trump "only" said "sure" to denouncing racism in the debate, and that's how Trump lost his vote. Later, the next day, today, he talks about how the Republic will fall if the democrats take power. I don't understand his logic.
For reference, look at his coffee with Scott Adams for the past two days for his "reasoning."
I watch the dude every morning, but I don't understand how he can reconcile those two worlds.
If you don't like Trump, your other option is (D)eath to America.
So even if he's serious, and he got played by the sound bites used to attack Trump, ultimately the choice hasn't changed.
We find for the (R)eturn of the Republic or (D)eath to America.
For some it's a hard choice, and the red pill burns them.
Not for me though. I've made my peace and my choice, it's just a matter of seeing it through. I will pray for Trump, my family and my country, and may God have mercy on us in the coming days.
Adams does this, playing both sides so whatever happens he can claim that he predicted it correctly. He did the same thing with COVID. Early on he was all-in on the fear mongering. If you asked him now, he'd probably try to gaslight you and point to quips that support his current view and say he was just joking about the ones that contradict it. "LOL, I was only pretending to be retarded!"
I disagree with the President sometimes. Never once thought of not voting for him.
I guess I'm not a wishy washy attention whore though
For me Trump is like an alarm clock. Sometimes I want to break that damn thing for a minute or so, but getting rid of it? no way!
Ya gotta love our President because we know he loves us, no matter what.
This attention whore needs medications.
He’s just doing it for the lolz. He is pretty brilliant and based
1/3rd of the population lacks a humour sense.

I'm not a white supremacist, just standing by.

He’s actually looking pathetic for sure.

I’m about sick of this dude.
EDIT: Scott Adams is probably that one downvote.
I think Scott blocked me for calling him a fair weather friend.

I feel like he is just shitposting at this point
Was he just messing with them or serious?
I read this as a variation of I'm still voting for Trump.
Go fuck yourself Scott
You're in no-man's-land alone now buddy
"This is you. Cleved from the herd and left out in the wilderness."
Just kidding ... everyone loves the circus except that asshole bob barker.
Translation: A bunch of people cancelled reservations at my restaurant in Dublin (CA), so I'm not sure what to do now.

My name is comment enough.
He should have ended it with TWICE just like all you liberals......LOL

Maybe The AI just gave him a new opinion. /s
You may be right. Or his cannabis levels dropped to danger levels and it harshed his mell.

He could be using sarcasm, or he could be absolutely blazed. Or both.
Meh, Scott, meh. https://thedonald.win/p/HYCCSCyS/lol-scott-adams-master-persuader/

He doesn't need your stinking vote, Scott. We will MAGA without you. Please disembark the train.
This dude is lame,
I'm really over this tool. Begone, grifter.
Um, no shit.
Scott was being sarcastic ... That's it sarcastic
