Yes, there were 9 military ballots all marked for Trump that were discarded.

Security is largely management of access points and a defined flow so that any irregularity becomes obvious and easy to observe and resolve.
Think about a nightclub —there is usually one entry point, there are 2-3 people controlling entry, there is a line that’s typically roped off. No one can just walk in. If someone tries to cut line, they have to go over the rope.
With that in mind, notice anything similar about a voting precinct?
And with both of those in mind, does any post office anywhere in the United States, no matter what state remotely resemble a secured environment? You can honestly say that a nightclub has better security than where your vote might be sent.
