This may be farfetched but: I'm honesty of the opinion that CNN is going to make subtle moves to shoot the DNC in the foot, and this may be one of them. CNN cannot give positive coverage to Trump, because it would betray their corporate sponsors and DNC overlords, but they desperately need Trump to win because their entire business model now relies on trashing the Trumps. CNN needs Trump in office to stay relevant. To us though, and the entire DNC base, it will be impossible to tell the difference between their Trump Derangement Programming and sliding their coverage in a way that undermines Biden.
